ADULT DAY HEALTH PROGRAM

Thanks to the support of the Compass Care Adult Day Health Program, many frail Seacoast seniors are able to continue living at home. Participants get out of the house and back into life-enjoying interesting activities and interacting with peers who share similar challenges and life experiences. Family caregivers have peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in a safe, caring, stimulating home-like environment. Services include:

• Nursing care, personal care and care coordination.
  
  
• Art, music, crafts, exercises, discussion groups, word games, baking, woodworking, appropriate athletic games, intergenerational programs, outings, gardening and more. Activities are designed for their therapeutic effect, and the enjoyment they provide.
  
  
• Caregiver support services, information, referral, assistance with financial aid.
  
  
• Nutritious breakfast, noon meal and snacks, tailored to individual dietary needs.
  
  
• Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group.
